I don't even think it has anything to do with Eichel just being the favorite toy. Not to take anything away from Reinhart, because I like his game a lot, but Eichel is just so much more special. Reinhart is a very good player. Eichel is a generational player.

I don't know.... we have too many guys right now.... between Foligno and Larsson... i think one might get traded here at the end of the preseason.

McGinn is a PERFECT 3rd line scorer for this team no point in only giving him 5 minutes of ice a night.

McGinn needs time to get comfortable playing again. He's missed a TON of time over the past 2 seasons. Easing him back in as a 4th liner and maybe the 13th forward on some nights might be the best course of action right now.

Not to mention that with the way the team is currently constructed, the 4th line will be more than capable of more than 5 minutes a night.

I see your point there.

I haven't seen where he has been placed in preseason mostly but I'm sure hte lines will continue to shake for the first week or two.

if I remember right.. Blysma likes to shake his lines A LOT throughout the season.

We do need to ship someone away but that should be Legwand. We don't owe him anything, we weren't trading for him, he was a forced hand salary dump for Ottawa. We could retain 50% of his contract to make him manageable for another team and take a pick/low prospect in return. There has to be at least a few teams that could use Legwand as a 4C.
