Eh. I don't think of it like that. I would imagine being on the ice with those bright ass lights can be irritating. Could just be my line of thinking though, as I have always had a light sensitivity, even more now since I had LASIK done. - HonkFortheGoose

Problem is if he doesn't get claimed, they're still on the hook for all but $900,000 of his current cap hit. - HonkFortheGoose
He should get claimed.... IMO. |

Wow, I'd be shocked if Bickell got claimed. Isn't getting paid like 4.5M?? He's not that good to warrant that salary, he got paid for some good playoffs performance and hasn't done much since. |

It's been 8 months and I can't say I have any complaints.
Once in a while I battle with dry eye, but I've had no major issues with halos or anything like that. My last checkup was in June and they told me my vision was 20/15.

He's getting $4M. So if he goes unclaimed, they'll still have to count $3.1 toward their cap. Currently according to GeneralFanager they're $189,000 over the cap with 23 players. So that $900,000 in savings would help them, but it's a bandaid. |

Yeah, just looked it up and see I was off a bit, but still, 4M for him?
no thanks
I'm sure they're praying heavily that someone claims him |

Yea at 4.5m i don't think he gets claimed, Buffalo would probably be the only team to be able to do that, and i would rather let these guys play, see how they do and if we need help get something at the deadline. - CoHo_to_B-Lo
There's plenty of teams with cap space other than us. Believe it or not, there are 7 other teams with more space available than we have. |

I highly doubt it. Plus he apparently has lingering vertigo issues. |

They'd be better off just putting him on LTIR. That gives them full cap relief for now. |

So you're sending Reinhart to Rochester? - HonkFortheGoose
I think he could use it. I don't think there is a big rush that he has to play this season in Buffalo. I'm certain he'll get his opportunities in Buffalo due to injuries that are sure to occur. I just think it would be good for him to really dominate the AHL. Give him alot more confidence.+ |

Yep, very good chance that's where he ends up, I'm sure this is just their hope to be rid of him instead. |

There's part of me that wants him here and there's part of me that says Rochester could be good for him for a bit. It's a tough sell either way. And just in case you didn't know, I wasn't criticizing, just asking since you left him out of your lineup. I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget about him was all. |

Perhaps. It seems like a stretch though. I could see a team like Arizona picking him up if he was fully healthy, but the vertigo thing is a tough sell. |

reinhart is a ppg player so far this preseason
I believe all primary assists
watching a team that struggled to score goals, the one thing they need is play makers, which he is
IMO you do not get kane, ror, trade a 1st rd pick for a goalie, sign franson so one of your future stars gets buried in rochester
my 2 cents |

I would imagine golfing with vertigo isn't quite the same as playing hockey with it. |

Question:
Would you rather see him playing limited minutes on a third line out of his natural position?
Or would you rather him get top line minutes polishing up his face-off skills ect. and contributing bigger minutes at center.

I dont hate that idea but in my opinion Girgensons is a better option there |
