Question:
Would you rather see him playing limited minutes on a third line out of his natural position?
Or would you rather him get top line minutes polishing up his face-off skills ect. and contributing bigger minutes at center. - MCGUIZZY
I think he gets more from practicing with ror, eichel, kane, ennis and girgens on a daily basis then he would ever learn in the AHL |

I dont hate that idea but in my opinion Girgensons is a better option there - MCGUIZZY
I like ZG as 3rd lline center with the Skunk on the wing. |

That where im torn. On one hand just being on the ice with those guys would be very beneficial. But at the same time having those guys provides us an oppoutunity to not rush a guy like him into a situation that is not ideal (playing wing on 3rd line) |

hahah i didn't mean it like that. Tinted visors are too much if youre not the best player on the ice - yen6d1
I know this is a ways back but I'm late to the party.. I'm pretty sure though that Kaleta had to wear the tinted visor after an eye injury that almost made him lose his sight in one eye. I believe it was a puck but to the eye but the effects were vision sensitivity to bright lights hence the tinted visor. |

Agreed on that |

He should get claimed.... IMO. - jochfr
I think being in 30th place last year, Buffalo would have the first right to claim him. There are worse players out there, but at $12m over the next 3 years we'll pass + why help Chicago out.
Rudi and Leduc had to be waived to be sent to Rochester, I believe?? That's if no one claims them, which is unlikely. |

There's part of me that wants him here and there's part of me that says Rochester could be good for him for a bit. It's a tough sell either way. And just in case you didn't know, I wasn't criticizing, just asking since you left him out of your lineup. I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget about him was all. - HonkFortheGoose
LOL. It's my fault. I should have clarified my position on Reinhardt when I posted the lines. I obviously would love to see him succeed in Buffalo. Just not sure if they might be rushing him. Hoping all the best for him!! |

2 rookies on our second line...Granted one is a stud but still. Much prefer a more experienced Girgensons there |

Why should Reinhart be the one playing out of position on a 3rd line? And why is a 3rd line so bad if your top 2 are good? Look at what happened with the likes of Roy and Vanek back in the day when they were young and on the 3rd line. |

Just basing it off of Bylsma's comments. About how he likes Reinhart better on the wing. Didnt say 3rd line is a bad thing. Just that he would get more minutes in rochester playing his natural position. |

I think he's gonna stick here. For now. They don't have to send him to Rochester before the season starts. They could keep him and see how he does after a bit in the regular season. If there's things they don't like, they can send him down.
The lines are going to be very fluid for a while anyway. The guys together at the beginning of game 1 could be completely different for game 2. Until some sort of chemistry forms then there's gonna be a lot of changes from game to game, IMO. |
