Wouldn't doubt it. I don't think they are a playoff team but hard for me to put them in the bottom 4. I think we are as likely to be a bottom 5 team as we are a playoff team.
And like you said injuries make the world go round. Say one our guys gets an extensive injury we may be competing for Matthew's - Tfaehner
Anything is possible, but I think the Flyers 1st line, pp and goaltending are good enough for them to be a team that finishes somewhere between 17-20 overall.

Yeah, I think so. At least Arizona has some quality Dmen. The Canes are hurting pretty much everywhere. Also, IMO, the Canes play in a tougher division and that will factor into their final record. I think the bottom 10 overall teams are:
21. Ottawa
22. Buffalo
23. Edmonton
24. Colorado
25. Boston
26. New Jersey
27. Vancouver
28. Toronto
29. Arizona
30. Carolina - BiggE
So Edmonton wins the draft lottery again? |

My prediction was we draft between 11-18 so we aren't far off especially if we can fix our problems verse the bottom part the league. I really wouldn't mind being a team that's improved but still a lottery team and has a shot at top 3 picks. We aren't going to a cup this year so mine as well have a shot at a top 3 pick in a draft that seems pretty strong at the top. |

They'll get the 2nd pick this year they have too many centers so they'll go with the finnish right wing |

Chara is 6'9 255 on this year's roster up from the 240 on last year's and 235 2 years ago. Letting himself go I guess |

Ideal situation: Our core guys all have a good year stats wise, our PP looks good, PK much improved, Mason the man, we still lose a lot of close hard fought games, get a lottery pick and another solid young player, get rid of 3-4 contracts off the books after this year, start to bring the young guys up, in 2 years make a big FA signing, win Stanley Cup. See guys, it's simple |

Chara isn't playing goal, slamming down into the butterfly thousands of times per season.
(and w/ Chara, that weight gain is probably pure muscle, lol. dude's that heavy and wins the pull-up contest in preseason every year in camp) |

Yes, and before they go on that run to the Cup, the Flyers make a trade deadline deal which gets a lottery-bound team to part with their first round pick in exchange for Lecavalier with the Flyers absorbing zero salary. The acquired pick is then the lottery winner. The defending Stanley Cup champion Flyers draft Auston Matthews - bmeltzer

Due to a dispute over Kenny Chesney, the Nashville Predators terminate the contract of Shea Weber. The Flyers sign him to an 8-year deal at the NHL vet minimum salary. Shea Weber is crowned "King of Everything" and his sheer presence causes Sidney Crosby to retire due to health concerns. - jmatchett383
They were fighting over the undisputed king of Nashville. Mariotta upset he wasn't considered forces himself a trade to the Eagles to be reunited with his coach chip kelly. Having seen the recent pieces of events and new York not willing to be superceded merge all new York teams into one super team during the movement Lundquist contract is terminated accidentally so upset over the matter of events he signs on to the Flyers to back up Steve mason. |

He walks around according to the Internet around 7% body fat. To put that in perspective at his height he could harbor almost 20% body fat and still have abs and look athletic. 7% is insanity for his height. At 255 his zero body weight would be 235 and if you take into account his height his lean body weight would be 195 so he has roughly 40 lbs of muscle to his build.
A natural bodybuilder could hope to in a 10 year time frame put on between 10-18 lbs of lean muscle. With good genetics.
Dude's a freak of nature |
