He should, doesn't look like one of the 12 best forwards to me. I'd play him against the big teams.

Burrowing Owl is usually pretty solid, but we were really disappointed this year. Hopefully it was just a bad vintage. Beautiful winery though.

I don't know what it is, but wine's great for creating memories. Maybe because with beer you're usually drinking it while you do/watch something else, and hard bar is a fine line between being social and hitting on your friend's wife, but often the wine itself is the focus. Glad you got some with your mom while she was still here.

Thanks for that. The memories are great.

Hutton should have known that Sbisa does that. Rookie mistake.

Horvat is the the second, or maybe even first line centre imo. Kid is flying.

Sutter should play with Burrows and Hansen.

He's been the best in preseason, but is easily second best on the team. I have no problem with the trade for Sutter, but why in the hell did we give him a raise and an extension before he'd played a single game.

I am both puzzled and concerned with the Canucks lineup.

I am 100% in favour of having both McCann, Virtanen, and Hutton on the team. Benning and Linden talked about stacking a younger team against opponents, and having these three on the roster with Baertschi, Horvat, and Bartkowski does exactly that. However, it puzzles me why Cracknell is still on the roster. I don't even know why the Canucks signed him. He has 5 seasons under his belt, with no more than 24 GP in a single season, and a season high point total of 8 points. He was a 9th? round draft pick with potential offensive upside to go with his size. He was an all-star in the WHL with the Kootenay Ice, but that was 10 years ago. Cracknell is an AHL player or depth player on a weak NHL team.

Lastly, the 2nd line of Baertschi - Horvat - Vrbata is an amazing combination. However, it leaves the question of where to put Sutter. He was signed as centreman and is being played on the wing with with the Sedins. If he doesn't play wing, he is looking at 3rd or 4th line centre duties, depending on where McCann slides in.

Craziness.

I know I am going to get crucified but Hutton and Sbisa complement each other quite well. I like that pairing.

Every dman who's played with Hutton this pre-season has looked good. Biega had his best game with him. Tanev looked as good as he did with Edler. Sbisa still is an awful player, but also looks better with him.

Speaks more to Hutton than anything.

Biega looked better with Hutton than he did last year when he was paired with Weber/Stanton/Sbisa/Etc. He was physical last year but a lot of the shifts were played in the Canucks zone.
