Speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash, which took place around 6 a.m., said Couture.

“(Kassian) was all bloodied up and stuff. He was in a daze,” said Steve Petrenko, a resident on the street where the accident took place. He described the man as a big guy, who he thought looked familiar.

“He had a hard time walking, and he almost took a fall,” Petrenko told the Montreal Gazette.

The witness says the man was brought into the lobby of his residential building. He was asked by paramedics if he knew where he was, to which he replied “Quebec,” said Petrenko.

When asked his name, Petrenko said the man responded “Zack Kassian.”

Kassian out partying at 6am. Montreal is the perfect city for him to grow up and be a pro.

I call poppycock on the witness. No chance even a healthy kassian could figure out he was in Quebec

*waits for nucker to claim Benning drove Kassian to alcoholism. Kassian was a sait while here. Hardest working pro he'd ever seen*
- Bieksa#3

This is exactly the reason the management team wanted him off the roster and essentially paid someone to take him off their hands.

Getting rid of him was a smart decision for the team.

No, you're wrong. Nucker has an advanced stat site that shows a drunk who is a healthy scratch because he won't contribute is better the a 4tg line guy who can fight and skate.

No doubt. Dying to see a stat where Kassian on a cyclic level would have been way better then Sutter on the Sedin line...wait for it...

Nucker calls Benning a fool for not giving him a tryout. "Hes better then Sutter, and Prust, dorsett, burrows, Higgins, sbisa and Miller put together

and for being weird ...THIS is HOCKEYBUZZ ! pot and kettle me thinks

i'll give you that i am a fan who CHOOSES to believe and HOPE rather then fall for the doom and gloom that so many on here subscribe to, we get in the playoffs we have a chance to win , Simple!! our team can come together and rise above the challenges we face, but only if FANS believe! hold on to hope , believe we WILL win and there is a chance !

when Roger raised the flag we were beat and yet we rallied, it is the determined underdog mentality that will help us overcome.

No Conan references, so that rules out Esplen.

Kassian smashed his truck this morning in Montreal. It sounds like he has a concussion.
