Who changed scoring in hockey pool?
Blocks and hits replace gwg and short handed points? .??
No more shutouts? Saves and save percentage are virtually same stat.
Not a fan of any of these moves. |

Vrbata could be fine with those guys. But why not see what a full kid line can do. Put Vrbata back with the twins. Sutter with Hansen and Burrows or even Higgins later. Those could actually be three good lines and I bet that type of team could be the playoff team that Willie and Benning want. - bazz
I think they're just covering their bases. If Virtanen stops being effective with Bo and Sven they need to see how he plays in a less offensive more physical role with the same kind of linemates.
As far as Sutter on the first line, coaches can't seem to help trying the Sedin Alchemey: seeing which piece of rock they can turn into gold.
They're taking a risk for sure, they haven't spent any of the preseason trying to establish sustained chemistry, but at least they are covering all their bases. |

Iain Macintyre and everyone else who thinks these kids (Jake & Jared) should be full time players this year are reactionaries and have know idea about building a solid hockey system. Give them the nine games and then send them off to rip up the CHL.
Iain is just bored he wants the fan base to be "excited", he is short-sited who's only real purpose would appear to be creating fanatical propaganda.
Ideally the Nucks develope a youth movement over the next two three years to move on from the Sedins period.
Red Wings not Hurricans, Panthers, Oilers model please. - Leo_Union
Wings model is great if you have enough quality on the big league team that you can let quality youngsters develop slowly in minors. If the top squad is lacking, the youngsters have to come up.

GCL was worth every penny. - thundachunk
its a helleva lot better than trying to watch it on sites that stream NHL games for free the single team package was only $25 cheaper than the full package so I bought the all access one... probably the best $130 i've spent in a while |

I think taxing the lower class more should be a priority. Most of them don't even work and expect free handouts. Tax them more and see how they like it. |
