Reverse effect tonight though as I bought some No.5 vineyards Mission Hill Cab/Merlot blend (on sale) and it blows...good thing I bought a bottle of the white label Mission Hill reserve Shiraz (also on sale) but much better. Normally I'm not floored by Okanagan reds but this Shiraz is decent for $21.

There's some good reds to be had, but you got to search them out. With a few exceptions, the best reds come from as far south as possible.
