Eh, young team is going to have these issues...up to guys like Gionta, ROR, Moulson, etc to lite a fire under these guys.
Somebody did between 2nd & 3rd .. Would love to know who said what...was it the coaches...or was it a young in...or a designated leader. Seems McGinn had his head screwed on straight - IonSabres

Question: We put Akeson on waivers today even though he was on a two-way contract and clearly scheduled for Rochester. Why would Murray do this? Is it in hopes that he gets claimed so as to open up a contract spot? Maybe, kick him down to the ECHL? |

.?? Good questions. Who knows...I really don't recall a lot about him from the games...perhaps that is th reason..someone picks him up on the cheap and let's GMTM off the hook? |

One-way/Two-way has nothing to do with waiver eligibility.
My guess is either his number of seasons (3 prior) or age are the reason for his need to go through waivers. I can't imagine it's even possible to put someone on waivers if they're not eligible to be on them. |

That's what I'm kind of thinking, that Murray wants to get off the hook on Akeson's contract because someone else has been put on waivers and we have first crack at them. |

Kodi is great just one thing. It always opens in full screen and I was wondering if I'm missing where you can minimize and open another screen? I've been looking around and haven't been able find an option when opened on Chrome. Anyone with some insight? |

Just to clear it up, 2-way vs. 1-way has nothing to do with waiver eligibility. Waiver eligibility depends on age/number of games played in the NHL. All a 2-way contract means is if that player is in the AHL they get paid a lower salary and don't count against the cap. If a player on a 1-way deal is in the AHL they still get paid full NHL salary and count against the cap. |

Do you mean open another Kodi screen? Or just be able to have other things open on your computer? If the latter, you can alt-tab to other programs with no problems. If you mean another Kodi window, then I don't know about that. |

I mean to be able to open other things on my computer. So click alt tab and that will do it? I'll go watch the Oilers vs Canucks game and see if I can open a tab to come back here. Thanks!!
Edit: Got it, thanks!! It was really annoying me not being able to twitter or go anywhere during Bills or Sabres games. It opens Spotify too right away when alt tab. |

Alt-tab is just the keyboard combination to press to switch between any of the open programs on your computer, so have at least one other thing open before you start Kodi and you can switch out to it or other things.
If Kodi is the only thing open, you can try hitting the Windows key on your keyboard to see if it brings up your start menu to launch things too. |

Yeah, alt tab brings up my bottom bar that lets me open a couple browsers if nothing is open. I'll try the windows key. I just never use the keys and rely on the mouse all the time. Thanks again, I'm now set for the Bills game tomorrow. |

Also, try this.. Might work better for single monitor.
In Kodi:
System - Settings > Video Output > Display Mode: Windowed
-You can now adjust the window size of Kodi by dragging an edge with the cursor.
And if you're talking about running two instances of Kodi.tv, to go back and forth between games....you cant. Kodi.tv is media server software. 1 PC/1 instance. You could run a VM and get around this, but that's one hell of a workaround. |

Sorry...just been using computers since the mid 90s when too much of it was keyboard based and not mouse.
I go nuts working with people who use their mouse for every little thing...but it's the pains of working in IT. |

You might have to do some searching in the sportsdevil add-on, a lot of dead links. |

I don't think that's true. Unless they changed it for the last CBA. You can bury a contract in the minors; you still have to pay full freight, but it doesn't count against the cap. We did it with Kotalik the last time we had him when we picked up Regehr. Paid him $3 million or whatever, but it didn't count against the cap. It's just another way for cash rich teams like the Sabres to acquire the players they want. |

That seems about right to me...between 80 - 85 points this year.
Which means we would be drafting in the 7th position or so.
That all seems to fit for me |

I would agree Ion. I see it as well that they will be between 80-85, steady progression forward. The only thing that might keep them under 80 points is the goaltending. I still think Murray might make a move before Tuesday, just a feeling. |
