So technically they could have thrown the red flag??

In the seahawks vs packers game this season GB threw the red flag for them to check on a penalty, and they reviewed the play an issued a penalty to seattle.

I wonder if Detroit could have thrown the red flag in this case.

NFL Red Zone is talking about it right now and they just confirmed from 2 former refs that it was a penalty.

It should have been a 10 yard penalty, and 1st and goal from the 1 yard line for Detroit.

I just think...

1. The player who batted it was so definitive about it that it clearly looked like he knew what he was doing.
2. This is MNF. They usually don't f up cause of the huge audience.
3. Zero argument from anyone from Detroit.
4. No mention at all from the announcers.

Yeah You can only bat the bat the ball out the back of the end zone if you are on offense and say you are backed up in by your end zone.

If you fumble it you can bat it away and take the safety which prevents a touchdown.

Nah Safety can only happen in your end of the field when you are on offense.

In this case it should have only been a touch back if they covered it.

Dude, I think you were in the pool a couple of different times and both times you had to be replaced so I decided to let some others who have been asking since year 1 to get in a chance first. It was nothing personal. It's a daily lineup league, and you told me yourself that you're not always online every week.
