Socialism does not work, it breeds laziness an self pity. I'm not a Harper fan,per say, but as it stands, I'd never vote for the other leaders.
- LeftCoaster

How many more fascist laws are people willing to put up with if we have Harper for any more terms? He really hates the freedoms we have. He's an Authoritarian. There are bigger things than the economy which is always changing anyways and there will be an election no more than 4 years later. Our freedoms one by one are gone forever under this psychopath.... Canada means more to me than an income.

I just want him gone and I will revisit the idea of voting for the conservatives again like I have many times in the past. This POS is a religious radical. He is obsessed with the holy land and has passed laws making you a terrorist if you criticize Israel's governments policies(wtf is with that)... the massive effort to scare us to death with terror threats so we accept these nazi laws. Now this Barbaric law... more fkn witch hunting... yet it will mostly get used to spy on the enemies of the holy land and Harper's opposition.

I'm sleeping on the Skeena River right now. This sellout POS is trying to destroy the two things I love about Canada the most. Our freedom... and this beautiful wilderness. No thanks.

He was right about Corrado being overrated.

Dude, I think you were in the pool a couple of different times and both times you had to be replaced so I decided to let some others who have been asking since year 1 to get in a chance first. It was nothing personal. It's a daily lineup league, and you told me yourself that you're not always online every week.

I was blocked. It wasnt a repeat problem. I never got back in. I did have other problems with the site though.

I was joking about not being let back in... I left it up to you but couldnt promise I wouldnt have more problems. If you wanted a higher level of compete you would have brought me back anyways... but much like Bieksa...you are careful who you match up against.

Things have changed so much over the last 20 years, todays conservative is the Liberal 20 years ago. I would normally consider myself a Liberal but ideals and opinions have changed so much I don't recognize any party. I look for who is going to hurt me and my country the least.
- thundachunk

Same.
I miss the Canada that i grew up being proud of.
I really hope it's time for Harper to go (that being said, I've been out of the country for 5 years and can't vote).

I know people are just trying to stir the pot, but it baffles me how often the term socialism is thrown around and people speak of it like its some fabled demon.
As if America is some ideal that we should emulate?!?!? The country is rife with poverty, crime and desperation juxtaposed with a super-elite that perpetuate some false 'dream'.
It's a failed system that is slowly losing grown.

It's like suggesting that Canucks should emulate the Rangers model of spend spend spend, when clearly the Detroit model of taking care of your own picks, slowly integrating everyone with a free education in Grand Rapids, and spreading the wealth of playing time over 4 lines is a proven winner.

Imagine how much worse the US would be if their socialist leader didn't have massive opposition.

Its because they are a bunch of old men. Ask the 30 - 45 year old republican men how they feel about her. Men of that age group have a different respect for women.

Yeah, that opposition should be in power. They're the best America has to offer. Never seen a group of smarter people. If only that socialist, Marxist, communist, Leninist leader wasn't controlling everything. America would be a beacon for all the world. Give us Bush, Trump, Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Christie, Boehner, Walker, Romney and all will be good again.

Any word on whether Bobby Orr Corrado has been claimed. I wonder if Socialist Jim Benning will make more moves soon?

Why he's a good prospect for us still. I would be surprised if he cleared though.

On a day when Benning actually made some significant moves, all we can talk about is wether or not Harper can wear his hijab next term.

Out of those thrown on waivers yesterday, I see those two and maybe Tokarski as being the most likely to be picked up...

I think they get through, but not enough to bet. If they don't we're going to get sick of the term "asset management".

Already sick of the term. Remember the bad asset management when Benning kept Matthias instead of trading him at the deadline. Imagine if he was traded and the Canucks lost to Calgary in the first round, it would be all about how stupid Benning was to trade the third leading scorer for a pick because he was afraid to lose him for nothing after the season.

I don't think we'll know about any waiver claims until 9am. It's highly unlikely someone will any of the Canucks.
