I was saying going into camp... the prospects are already talking about Bo like he's a leader.
- boonerbuck

Wasn't that the odd charm when he was drafted? He talked about Shink being a good kid or something similar.

I can tell you exactly when it happened too. On the PP against SJ, he got a feed on the left point from right side and bobbled it. He chased it down and rather than making a NHL calibre play, shuffled a weak backhand towards the net that was easily intercepted and cleared.

Next, against Calgary, fans on a pass and coughs it up behind our net. Rather than taking the body or trying to recover the puck he flops to the ice in what i can only assume was an attempt to take a passing lane away.

But lets keep the rose coloured glasses and stick our heads in the sand while we plan the parade route like toronto has done for the last 50 years

Well, you've convinced me.

Any rookie who makes not 1, but 2 mistakes during his first NHL pre-season is clearly a bust.

Waive him now and fire Benning!!!

My bold prediction...

Sbisa will finish with a less negative +/- then Bieksa

- 1970vintage

Sadly that's more realistic than some of those predictions

Um, he hasnt played in the NHL yet. He's going to make mistakes. What you are forgetting is that he made less mistakes than *the rest of our NHL D men* in the pre season.

No prospect will ever have a chance to make the NHL if they gets cut over a tiny amount of mistakes surrounded by brain farts from his team mates all night long. AV is gone.

This is how they get a look at players... and Hutton can be sent down without risk. Lighten up a little. We have a good player here we think.

Sounds like Hutton is playing with Tanev. #calmness.

Really? Where'd you see this? I'd be interested to hear about the rest of the D pairings.

@VanCanucks: Desjardins speaking to the media. "These guys deserve it. Now they're in the NHL and they have to produce. They'll be evaluated every game.

I liked how JVR will lead the leafs with fewer then 50 points but the team won't finish in the bottom 10...

Belcher is a pretty level-headed poster. Backs up his statements with strong rationale. Probably one of the most reasonable posters here.

I like the direction we are going here. People have been crying about this team not getting younger and it all being lip service. We are getting younger...

I expect Cassels to get a good look next season. He was down the depth chart with the show that our top picks were putting on but he has a pretty good complete game. I still expect him to be a player as well. Room down the middle is a future challenge though.

I am starting to think Sutter doesnt make it half way through his contract here.

Truthfully I like Sutter on the wing better. So far anyways.

Fire the coach. He's not giving Jake enough ice time.

call me crazy, but if both Vey and Corrado clear waivers, there was an awful lot of whining over nothing.

The outrage on talk radio is hilarious. All the poopity predictions for a team that apparently isn't playoff bound and now they are freaking out about a couple players sent to the minors after underwhelming play in the preseason.

I think Vey still has potential, but he didn't earn any spot in the lineup.

Corrado hasn't stood out.

This is change.

He has NTC, may still till near end of contract or full if he likes it here.

Contract aside, I'd say he's a 3rd line winger that can take some faceoffs on his strong side in terms of his skill set.

He won't be easy to move unless the Cap goes up by a good amount. Especially with the NTC kicking in.
