I thought Donovan had a pretty good game in the last pre season game. He kept it simple and got some pucks through from the point. He even picked up an assist, I think. Up until then though he was meh. - mhp
Some Islander fans had some good things to say about him, solid bottom pairing potential. |

He might be a victim of the numbers game here but I agree, he's a 5-6 guy. |

Sammy=good.
Sabres=50 hours to go.
Best tv show ever=Twin Peaks. If you watch it now it will seem dated since it aired 25 years ago, and the version Netflix streams is before being digitally remastered. But the show was created by David Lynch...hands down a betterdirector than anyone working in tv, and he is directing the entire 3rd season, yet to come. The show only lasted 2 seasons but without Twin Peaks there would have been no blueprint for every important/really good serial drama of the last 25 years, including X Files, Lost, Mad MEN, Boardwalk, etc.
David Lynch creates a vibe that drawz you in...as long as you don't
require every little thing to be explained and wrapped up nicely.
And FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is the best tv character ever...you can't help but root for him. Plus the show features an unknown David Duchovny in drag. Hard to topthat. |

Then explain John Carlson DOB 1/10/90.
Plays the 08/09 season for London of the OHL.
Plays the 09/10 season for Hershey of the AHL.
The transfer agreement is a joke and should be 86'd. - dadeadhead
Sorry if this has already been addressed. Time zones are a female dog, and there are too many pages to catch up:
Short version: John Carlson was NOT drafted out of the CHL so he was not subject to the age-20 restriction.
Slightly longer version: At the time Carlson was drafted in 2008, his club was still the Indiana Ice of the USHL. He joined the OHL for 2008-09 season, but that was after he had already been drafted by an NHL club. The CHL Transfer Agreement restrictions apply only to players drafted out of the CHL. Because Carlson was actually drafted out of the USHL, the age-20 restriction didn't apply.
*EDIT* Totally agree about the CHL Transfer Agreement being a POS. |

Gotta see it from the other side too though. For example, how many fans in prince albert go to the raiders games there if draisaitl is in oklahoma instead? Ditto Reinhart and Kootenay. It's probably how those teams survive and why the ones who don't have a main attraction (battalions, ice dogs) are constantly moved. |

Short answer: yes
Longer answer: still sucks when the Sabres are on national broadcast as you won't get to see the games, but still a damn fine product overall. |

Haven't they changed some of the blackout rules, or was that just rogers in canada? |

Very true, it can be annoying to be on here during a game because it can be a minute or two behind and you guys are all posting about who is the next Gretzky or who needs run out of town.
But overall it's worth it. I can't deal with the bad quality of the streams on Kodi and the need to hunt them down, so I re-upped with GameCenter |

Not sure, I haven't read that much into it since the only way I'm blacked out is for national tv, so it's pretty rare. |

Yes they have as it was part of a lawsuit.
You are able to get the national broadcast games I believe and purchase an a la carte type option for just one team and not the whole league.
Personally I will still be purchasing the entire league. |

i saw the one team option. Its like 29 dollars cheaper, pointless not to buy it all. |
