Guenin over Gormley...ugh what the hell is he doing.

The only thing that I cant think that Guenin might add is on the penalty kill. I don't know how he makes top 6 d men

Guenin and cliche being good on the PK has awlays been a myth, only reason of why the Avs have had a good PK the past 2 years is Varly...he has something like a .975 s% on the PK.

Has nothing to do with those guys. I would rather see Zadarov and Gormley being groomed for that role vs Guenin and his ability to stand in one spot and swat away anything that moves....

I just cant get on board with rewarding him with anything. Hes not part of the future so why take away from the development of the Dmen in the Core who are

I dont care either way, ROR had to go, and if Duchene who is one of the most sicerest honest guys on the team is hinting that ROR was a bad/weird teammate away from the ice and that it was a distraction, and you get similar quotes from EJ and Landy. You have to feel that it was time.

Zads will pan out, hes an NHL body with raw potential, he would never be considered a bust and at the vest least will be a Top 4 Dmen, hopefully he hits that top pairing franchise potential he has. Grigo is a wild card but he has talent too, just needs to put it all together.

Dont forget the Avs got Compher, AJ Greer and a 2016 2nd round pick out of all this too, It will be years and years until they see a true winner out of this deal. But if what Dutch and crew have been saying about ROR, just moving on from the distraction could be considered a win for now.

All i got from that was that O'Reilly is kinda greedy, which is pretty much public knowledge. Don't see anything on him being a bad or weird teammate?

he kept on saying "at the rink" the video of it makes it seem a bit more particular with the way he kept on phrasing it. Doesnt seem like he was "one of the Avs" in his later years, just a guy coming to the rink to do his business
