I need to smoke one with SMP sounds like he needs it. - thundachunk
My point was well made and no one could argue it either. It's true, doesn't matter what happens there's whining.
I don't smoke but thanks for the offer....maybe some good booze? |

100% true. I don't smoke either on the rare occasion I will partake. Gimme some good wine or beer though I am happy. |

For everyones pi44ing and moaning about Corrado all I can say is Biega got sent down and cleared waivers. He was a lot better than Corrado in the preseason and training camp. I don't think I am alone in this assessment. |

No you're not alone on that. I think its has more to do with Sundin signing here. Ever since then the Leafs have taken on our ex-players this was their 1st chance to take someone off waivers. He is a Toronto kid and rh, good luck to them but they're just going for a top draft pick. |

Take a step back from the ledge Nucker. - thundachunk
I think that's a rather drastic take on what I had to say. Nowhere did I imply that this is going to hurt the Canucks moving forward, let alone any sort of doomsday scenario. I stand by what I said, though, and that is, Benning's weakness is asset management and negotiation. Hopefully, he will improve in these areas as things move along. The difference in winning and losing is very small in the NHL, and every aspect of management needs to be scrutinized and maximized if a team is to be as successful as possible.
(P.S. I have no problem with Nucker's take on Benning, and agree with his analysis of the management team so far) |

Yeah thats a lot. His heart would probably explode though if it was only him doing it. Not everyone is Charlie Sheen. |

I wasn't aware that you where in the room when the management team was talking over player assessments or were involved in trade or contract negotiations. I wont question you anymore. |

James Mirtle @mirtle .
Story: The Canucks made a blunder. The Leafs got Frank Corrado as a result. Babcock smiled. James wrote this http://t.co/axVAAAf2oe
not even going to bother reading... JB wanted to trade FC or move him to Utica, not have him sit in the press box. No takers on the trade front, try waivers to Utica...
It is like the Leafs have different goals than the Canucks. - hillbillydeluxe
Mirtle is a jackass most of the time. It's like the Canucks stole his doll and made him cry. |

I was merely stating my opinion based on information available. I think it's important to know one's strengths and weaknesses in order to be as successful as possible. Looking at Benning's track record so far (albeit a fairly small sample size) it is fairly clear that he needs to still work on some areas. I'm sure the same can be said of most managers, though. It's addressing these issues and continually improving in all facets of management that will make the difference. |

Meh, lost Frankie whatever, the forward line group looks good. Scoring will be balanced out sutter with sedins, Bo bae vrbata, Mcann mentored by burr and Hansen, and a tough 4th line, I went from on the fence for the season to thinking were gunna make the playoffs, will be an exciting year.
On a side note I hope next year (if Hansen is still around) We have a line of Shinkaruk-Mcann-Hansen, what a fast line that would be |

Things are going pretty good, thanks - hockey is starting up tomorrow, Sheneequa (my latex companion) and I have reconciled , and I'm confident that casual lingerie Fridays are going to be implemented shortly
What of you? did you enjoy the summer? ( you didn't call me for bail funds so I"m assuming it was a quiet one ) |
