They haven't played a regular season game yet, so they might not be as good as we think. Fingers crossed either way.

Very interesting. On General Fanager Canucks have a 22 player roster with 192 k in cap space.

It has Chris Higgins on injured reserve . Does that mean they need to clear cap space to bring him back? Moving JV and McCann would still not be enough. I wonder if his injured reserve is included in cap ? If so it should be listed as a 23 man roster. He is not listed on the forwards group.

Paves the way for Bo to get it next year when Hamhuis moves on and then the C when Henrik and Daniel retire.

Or alternatively don't bring him back.

But if they waive him 1.55 still counts against the cap which puts us over

Kind of ironic after your last post, no?

I'm glad you're around to take some of the heat off of me as the most disliked poster right now

- Nucker101

some people don't bother to think independently, and are happy going along to get along.

i'm comfortable enough that i don't have to worry about it.

anyways, even if i don't agree with someone, i'm not going to make personal insults towards them, except in response.

The thing about Nucker is he deserves some of the heat that he has created by his negativity. Guys like Marwoods and Steamer may take a jab at him once or twice a day and he deserves that. There are also some that attack every post he says with a counter post and to me and I am sure as a few others is just as annoying.

It gets silly on here at times . Almost as like you're a dummy ( not you) . No I'm not. Yes you are . No I'm not . Yes you are. No I'm not . Yes you are.

You get the point. Occasionally it is fun but at times many many times it's not entertaining to read.

Agree Bo is heading straight for the 'C'. Sooner than later is better.

Corrado goes from being a lock for Canada in 2018, to trash now that he is a leaf
The nucks got caught trying to sneak him through at the last minute. no risk move for the leafs

- GardinerExpress

Tough call but it had to be made. Corrado's development has really stalled here in the past season or so. His skating (to me) looks weaker this year than it was last year and he seems to lose way more battles along the boards and I think his strength has been an issue. Right Hand shot yes but he wasn't providing a glimpse of what we need from a RHD. I honestly though he was going to take a 5-6 d slot here and run with it after Bieksa went to ANA. Not to be. Maybe he will have better luck in TO as a 3rd pairing D if he ever gets there. There is some upside to his game for the Leafs...we just weren't seeing any at all here in preseason. We'll be ok without him.

I think it's telling that there was a spot available for him and a career AHLer (Fedun), a B ranked prospect (Biega) and a unheralded rookie (Hutton) all were ahead of Corrado (according to Benning). On a defence corp like ours that is extremely weak and with a spot open, he couldn't even grab a spot. Likely as not Corrado probably gets sent down to the Marlies in a month and good luck to him.

No point in being excited. Asset management is a disaster and we don't have Eddie Lack or Frankie Corrado. May as well join that dirty little turn-coat Nucker and cheer on the Flames.

Going to be a very interesting game, wonder how much the last game of the playoffs is going to be a factor. I still stand by my prediction yesterday, a close 1-1 game that goes to overtime with Calgary managing to win with 19 year old rookie sensation Sam Bennett getting the OT winner.

Did you know he has scored a playoff goal before even playing in a regular season game??? Black magic I tell you...
