Some of that was for the obvious reaction. I find some people go into meltdown just cuz you don't agree with their belief systems. - kaptaan
Wow. With words like fascist and nazi, didn't notice any meltdown there. |

Wrong yet again Nucker. |

C-51 isn't fascist. it's prudent policy to combat jihadist savages.
thetyee is funded by leftists/ socialists bent on a "progressive" agenda... - from their website: "Just over half of The Tyee's revenues are from two ongoing investors. They are Working Enterprises, a Vancouver-based labour-affiliated investment group that has as part of its mission funding socially-responsible organizations, and Eric Peterson and Christina Munck, whose B.C.-based Tula Foundation funds a wide range of progressive programs including those of the Hakai Institute on the B.C. Central Coast." I personally have no issue with Harper's religious beliefs or with Jews. In fact, i'm happier knowing he's an evangelical and i'm not christian :-)
McGill Daily- part of the McGill university community... tells you all you need to know. More than that there isn't any coherent arguement to point to an agenda to "destroy" the environment... it's just a lot of whinging cuz the government doesn't pander to the enviro-nazi agenda to impose their fascist totalitarian policies on working canadians. hobbling Canada's economy by signing onto dubious "environmental" initiatives is a losing proposition for ordinary Canadians.... - kaptaan

Politics is or can be an extremely polarizing subject, especially to those who's party has power, but it can also be an extremely sore subject with many individuals that have been personally affected by the gov't and it's policies.
This is a warning to any and all that wish to post political rhetoric in this hockey forum, it will no longer be tolerated as I feel it breaks the CoC on the site.
If anyone has an issue with this please send a PM, otherwise back to hockey. |

Because he was the only one who said things like 100% neither get claimed...
Anyways, too bad Corrado got claimed but there is a decent chance the Nucks have another chance at picking him up later in the season. If not, not the end of the world but losing a young prospect who has improved every year is still a loss.
I don't understand how some here spend so much time feeling the need to defend every one of Benning's moves. He took a risk and lost a prospect for it, not the end of the world but certainly not a good thing.

in sports, as in politics, nuanced positions get rolled over as being wishy washy.
i agree with your post. not a good thing to lose a prospect for nothing but somewhat acceptable (and expected) by the play of the effected players.
had hutton or one of the 19 year olds been sent down, there would have been a furor (for different reasons) nonetheless. |

Weren't you just telling me how The d-pool is deep and Carrado was a top-4 d-man Vantel? I see your tune is quite different. - neem55
I never once in my life said Corrado was top 4 |

He has not improved every year.
I don't understand how some here spend so much time feeling the need to question everyone of Bennings moves. He was hired by the owner so he is the one in charge, maybe you need to start questioning the ownership and not management. |

I can't blame Benning for taking risks, it would of been safer to keep Corrado and send Hutton down but if is like you said a pretty acceptable risk. At some point we need to see those risks paying dividends though.
I think Linden's comments the strangest yet about being able to place Higgins on ltir and not risk Corrado. I wonder if they think they can trade him ?

meh, your opinion. but i was responding to someone who quoted me directly. didn't intend to post that, but felt the person needed a response. people are free to disagree.
freedom of speech and divergent opinions not resulting in death, are what makes Canada a better place to live than some third world kleptocracy, aka, most of the rest of the world. - kaptaan
There has never been freedom of Speech on our constitution or bill of rights. Thats the US.... you know nothing. You are a sheep. |
