Long overdue with this aging roster. Sedins Burr and Hamhuis look good but Bieksa was horrible , I don't like Higgins as everyone knows . They need to inject youth sped and toughness.

Usually a team injects one or two new players every so often. Besides Tanev and Bo this team was stale

This team definitely needed a complete overhaul. I just hope that the vets are moved for picks at the TDL. No need to go all out for the playoffs. Short term pain for long term gain.

I will say one more thing about the first line tonight.

All three players were passing and shooting. Henrik in the shoot frame of mind makes them dangerous and unpredictable.

Sutter is like a pitch hitter for Hank seeing he is faster and younger. Sutter was taking the deep zone coverage and that will keep Hank fresher at the end of the game and will help later in the season.

The Sedins shooting the puck reminds me of when Happy says to Shooter McGavin , oh oh Happy has learnt to putt.

That was a fun game. Oilers will finish with more points than the Flames.

The Flames look like what they should have looked last season, teams aren't going to underestimate the Flames now and they won't be able to manufacture the comebacks like they did. That being said, if they can get to 3v3 OT they'll be deadly.

Flames remind me of the Avalanche a few years ago. Big let down coming for them this year. Ramo as your goalie??? good luck with that.
