Plus he won't even get to keep that puck now(unless Burrows scooped it up for him just in case).

I thought I saw Burr scoop up the puck.... but i could have just been seeing things... i'm still not believing my eyes with a few things!

1 game sample sizes are da best

And dude, I don't mind being proven wrong by these guys. I was as pumped as anyone when Sutter scored

- Nucker101

If Sutter sticks on that line and doesn't score 30 he'd be a bust.

Yeah, that's a shame, hopefully he bounces back during game 1 next year. Back to back 0 point seasons will be Hodgson-like.

Those 2 fights are perfect examples of why fighting should be banned from hockey. Neither had anything to do with the play. Neither was in protection of a player who had been cheap-shotted. They were staged. They were fighting for the sake of fighting.

Fighting has lost it's place in hockey and it has nothing to do with the instigator penalty. It's about the health and well being of players. Fighting does not protect anyone, it simply puts those who engage in on ice, standing on 2 narrow blades, bare knuckle, fisticuffs in danger.

Well since he's only playing at ES with the Sedins, I'd be happy with somewhere between 20-25 goals.

Scoring was a bit higher league-wide, the Sedins were younger, the entire team itself was just better, so I'd adjust my expectations a bit.

You have some low Selke "D" expectations with how much you throw that phrase around.

McCann won't get it yet. Besides, who else they gonna give it to? Sam Bennett? Pfft. Linden Vey 2.0

Watched this live on Gamecenter, after the hit the play went down into LA zone and the camera followed but I could see Lucic get up and go after Couture as it was panning away. There is no part of me that want this overpaid goon to ever wear a canucks jersey.

Side note, LA as a whole looked REALLY slow and lethargic but Ehrhoff looked good on the PP. Get him in your fantasy pool if he's avail.

True. Hutton is going to demand big time $$$ when his ELC is done with his 82 point season, but he only had 0 goals and I've been told by some here that only goals matter so hopefully he'll still be cheap. Sutter's contract is a steal.

Have you ever played a real game of league hockey over the age of 15?

I am beginning to think you are a pencil pusher and book reader. You are all about stats but pay little attention to setting tones and creating space. I am not being sarcastic but have you ever played the game in an organized league?

I'd still like Lucic on our team. We need a guy that can play in our top 6 and can drop the mitts from time to time.

I love Dorsett's heart.... but his fight vs Ferland was basically him nominating himself to be a punching bag for a minute. You slow guys like Ferland when he knows there's a REAL price to pay if he continues to run around.
