Weber is useless. I've been saying it on this blog since day 1. People who like him will defend him to the hills though. I don't get it. You watch him play, right? The sabres should make him change his number to negative 6.

That is not a bad choice either... they've kind of buried him a little bit in their system. I wouldn't mind that kid that Montreal drafted a few years back early in the draft. Its not like they are gonna trade Price for him to be full time any time soon.

Talbot playing behind the best defense in hockey needs to be taken down a few rungs here. He has been a career back up with career back up numbers and then he plays good in a stretch for NYR when King was down. That is no big thing to me.

Lack I was actually more intrigued in then any of the others. Posting good numbers like that in Couver's "hang out hte goalie to dry" defense was impressive. Their defense is no better than ours is either.

I don't think those trades can be judged even at the end of this year. We have 9 new skaters on the ice along with 2 rookies. It will take time to gel that together.

maybe 2 or 3 years down the road if Kane is not potting 30+ goals and ROR is not the leader, wrecking ball, with 55+ points every season.. sure I can see the argument.

There was talk that all the GMs knew TM was hard for his players when he made a call so they jacked up the prices for them. I bet that wasn't the same offer to us for him.

He's not cleared to play. He is here to rehab and be a practice goalie. The Amerks play tonight and a goalie gets called up after the game for the Sabres game on Saturday to serve as backup.
