I watched the game wednesday night, and I gotta say, you guys are right around the perfect mix of veteran to young-blood ratio, there are hungry guys waiting in the wing at just about every position ready to step in in-case of injury or anything else, hopefully this is what my flyers will be like in a couple of years, as long as the Sedins continue to work their magic, this should spell a good season for the 'Nucks

He never wanted to leave. I bet he would come back if it were his choice. Benning wanted to get younger. When you look at Vey from his AHL/WHL resume' he is a home run pick. It's too bad he hasn't been able to translate that into the NHL

OK, but this doesn't make much sense to me. If he never wanted to leave, why didn't he use his no trade clause?
And if you want to get younger, why trade your 29 year old leading scoring defenseman, about to head into his prime?
I'd feel a heck of a lot better about our defense right now with Garrison in the mix...

I have t jumped any ship. I just can't stand his managerial style. When you have a dinosaur in Latroy Hawkins giving up two straight singles, clearly not throwing the ball the way he did Fukking 80 years ago. You yank him.
His bullpen management has been atrocious.
