Sabres were playing a very good game until they got into penalty trouble. They were shorthanded 5 mins in 2nd and tb started getting the better of the play. There were 5 goals scored and only 1 (kucherov) was a normal, non fluke goal. What's funny is that if buffalo takes a point shot that hits someone and goes in for a 2-1 lead, the talk is about how well we played. 4-1 looks awful but the game wasn't nearly that one sided.

first 2 periods, I honestly thought they were ok, since they were playing an elite team

However if guys like Lehner, skunk, O'Reilly, Kane etc don't start to produce (I'm sure Kane will) then Murray needs to be looked at as potentially being on a hot seat. He made a lot of splash moves that put pressure on himself.

3rd goal was his fault when he played the puck instead of just leaving it for Gorges, he didn't see goals 1, 2 and 4
