I think he waits to see how Johnson looks. I'm sure he has a plan as far as who he would target if he wants to make a move. It's not like the goalie is the make or break part of this team at the moment.

How's everyone doing in their divisions? Right now I'm in 3rd with 251, 2nd has 251.5 and 1st has 252.5, and the next guy/gal is at 224.

Chemistry building, line juggling is the norm with 9 new players for sure. Combine with that iffy goaltending and expect a few bumps along the way. Give it 20 or so games, we'll be ok. But we are gonna need an experienced vet goaltender to get us through it imo.

Elliot Friedman said that the Sabres want to see what they have with Ullmark before they decide to make a deal for a goalie. If he plays well enough in Rochester he could be the backup here until Lehner comes back. Not sure how true that is but for a goalie who hasn't played in months he did well making 38 saves.

I would rather they go find a vet goalie and leave Ullmark in Rochester for the year. Let him get used to the North American game. It does though create a bit of a logjam in Rochester with 3- Lieuwen, Makarov and Ullmark. With caveman Lenner out for 2+ months I can't imagine they go with Johnson and Lieuwen as the back up.

From the reports, it was a very shaky game from Rochester. Nothing like the night before. Goal tending was the difference.
