The way your brain works really is fascinating sometimes. We just held the highest scoring team from last year to 0 goals and have the backup goalie in. - HonkFortheGoose
And held arguably the best goal scorer in the league to zero shots on goal
olympics come around, people are interested, then nbc may show an afternoon game
instead of showing 2-4 games a month, nbc should be showing 10 a month
the nbc sports network should be showing 15 games a week
and as for the music, it does bother a lot of people in the 40-60 year old price range, the ones buying the higher cost tickets
when I ran a retail business, the music had to be a selection that would not offend anyone, you'd be surprised to find out how many people walk out of businesses that play that music
and there is nothing wrong with the sabre dance - homiedclown
Yeah, good luck finding music that doesn't offend anyone. And as an aside people need to lighten the (frank) up. Just in general.
I agree there needs to be more games on, Just do a "Hockey Night in America" on Saturday nights on NBC/NBC Sports, it's not like they show anything worthwhile from 7-10 on NBC anyway. Then flip over to NBC sports for the late game, and then have a matinee on Sundays. And make sure to not just play Pens/Caps, or Rangers Flyers every other game. Mix in some small market teams like Columbus, Dallas isn't really a "small" market but for hockey they are, Buffalo, and Nashville and throw in the Habs, Sens, Leafs for good measure. Although I would watch Flames Canucks every weekend for the late game. It's always an entertaining game.

That was fun.
I found myself smiling as well during that segment. - BuffaloHardHat
I was definitely smiling and laughing right along with them during that. Some of the guys were really good at it. Pysyk and Foligno were pretty spot on.

Larsson is a beast but if we could do a package for a D for him do it - gerbe75pts
I be willing to let the kid go for a top 4 defensemen only because we have such depth at center. But, I still think is value hasn't been reached yet. I bet the whole fan base and the league will be taking notice of him by the end of the season. We should hold onto him for a bit.

Currently you'd have to give up a lot more than just Larsson to get a top 4 guy. He's much more valuable on the roster right now than he would be as the main piece of a trade.

I agree we would have to add to the trade, but I'm saying if we hold onto him for the season, and he keep progressing like he is, then I don't think a decent 3-4 defensemen for him is out of the question. Larsson looks like his ceiling will be as a solid 3C that can sometimes fill in as a 2c.
