I'm going to say this and it has nothing to do with color or people, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Rock have never gotten any respect in the music world you can tell by the sorry ass so called Rock and Roll Hall Of Shame and the Shammy Awards ( Grammy). It's ok for Rap artist to talk about killing, shooting, money and "thug life" in there music but if Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden or any other act mention Satan the whole music world flips out but it's ok to mention shooting people or stealing in the lyrics.
There are plenty of upbeat Metal or Rock songs, Enter Sandman and Rock and Roll all night just to name a few, I can go on but i'm sure folks will call me a racist and by no means is that true my point is, music today is giving off the wrong vibe to people now a days but in the 80's when with Metal music it was wrong and everyone had a problem with it but now it's ok with Rap music?
Some in the world in the music industry need to wake up and see the problems but money speaks louder then words I guess and it's a shame because some of these Rap acts have a chance to really change things because of how popular the music is but, they choose not to.

The best closer in baseball history came out to that!!!!
Heavy metal music, death metal in particular is just something that is much more of an acquired taste than an up beat hip hop sound.
Again I like all types of music I just don't see Death Metal every working in an environment where there is 18,000 people that aren't there to see a concert.
Also Let me clear my throat is 20 years old. So it has nothing to do with what "popular" hip hop or rap music today is.
