“Early in the year, Jim talked about him coming in, and I just didn’t see a 19-year-old coming in and playing if we were going to try and make a run,” Desjardins said. “And until he proved it to me, I just didn’t believe it. To think WD is getting a hard time for not like youth is kind of backwards.

I don't have a dog in the fight, I was just providing the quote....
I have no problem with WD bit I do think he was hesitant to have Bo on the lineup based on his comments and that it is reasonable to suggest Benning influenced the decision to give him a shot.
