I think Higgins has good depth value to a team, his salary isn't unreasonable. Probably worth a 3rd to some team.

Hopefully that will smooth over soon. Hopefully the staff learned from their mistakes last year.

I've noticed Gulutzen seems to have a bigger role with the team. I have great faith he will change this for the team. Seems much more capable of that than Lidster.

I have a feeling they tried to move him but no one wanted him. Not many teams looking for 32 year old bottom 6 players that are not scoring over 20 goals. They can just go to the UFA list and find 20 of them for free

Yeah, it's pretty good, I'm looking forwards to seeing how he does as Black Adam in the DC Cinematic Universe because he's gone after that part for years.

As I said plenty of free agents that would be cheaper and would be more active in the playoffs.

If he is not waived then then he is a Canuck until contract expires.

Savings 950k , JV Gaunce MCCann all around the same range. You are only opening up a roster spot , you won't save money.

It should be, there is no more ppv for hockey except Center Ice. You always get your local games though

McCann has his jr (not nhl) body working against him, but has looked best at c. Limited options at centre and McCann has brought more offense in a couple games than Vey brought at his best last season (a little exaggeration, but he appears more dangerous, something is going to happen with the puck on his stick).

JV has the nhl body, but still working on his all around game... but is easier to rotate in and out of the lineup on the wing.

I could be happy with JB trading any one of our veteran wingers to just make some room.
