Here are the boring, tiresome trolls. Please feel free to add.

1. Members of the spreadsheet mafia, who evaluate the game solely through Corsi, Fenwick, etc. refusing to acknowledge that such analysis, while relevant, has limits. Such troll often accuses others of believing that the Earth is flat if they have the temerity to question the overarching and total truth of advanced stats as an indicator of a player's worth.

2. Members of the change a players name to include a female body part or some form of excrement. Crappeider would be an example of such troll.

3. The usage of the word sucks troll, especially in screen name. Please be more creative. Trying replacing the word sucks with gobbles or something of the like, i.e., Crosby gobbles ...

4. I am just a humongous Richard troll, who despite others attempt to engage in constructive dialogue, just can't help being a total dong.

5. You haven't won anything troll (a frequent visitor to the Rangers blog). This troll refuses to acknowledge other events happen in hockey, and while the Stanley Cup is the ultimate goal, refuses to acknowledge any form of lesser accomplishment, unless said lesser accomplishment is achieved by troll's team.

6. I hate my life troll. This troll takes hockey, and sports in general, way too seriously, and let's his wrath out on others, including children, old people, and the family dog, when things aren't going well.

7. I am really just a trying to talking hockey troll. This troll invades under the auspices of "just talking hockey" but really just wants to annoy the hell of out everybody. This troll is a close cousin to concern troll, one who feigns concern for your team, but really roots against them, and uses their feigned concern as a disguise to enable them to talk endless crap about your team.

They love you, but nobody is going to admit it. When I was a kid I was a huge Giants fan and hated Buddy Ryan more then anything. When he got fired for punching a player and was out of the NFL I really missed that crazy SOB. So kind of like that, you are enriching the Ranger fan's lives. They know it.

Whit the cap situation it's almost impossible to sign guys like that to long term deals. Last year Pouliot only play 58 games. But if he had played a full 82, he would have only been on a 48 point pace. Plus these guys are just keeping the seat warm for Buchnevich.
