I think so too. Horvat looks really good. But the D seems much stronger this year, the puck is getting moved up the ice quickly. Thats been my biggest take away.

I don't know where we will end up , but this is our best team in four years. No longer a bunch of pussies

Virtanen got a shift with 20 seconds left

Willie you are just too generous.

I really don't see what the issue is. I think learning how to win is more important than an extra 4 minutes of ice time.

I don't get it, is this another political post...

Gotta admit, he is smooth, has all the team colours to match, but red wings seem to have confidence and some proven veterans on their team, never been a fan of the blues...in fact if memory serves correct, it was this same poster(scooby/shiddy) that correctly predicted a sweep of this very team during a head to head competition...

He doesn't need the money with the millions his farm makes in Alberta.

If they fire him, that will probably be it for him.

Stevens is more than ready to take over seeing as he turned down coaching positions.

The prust dorsett combo has looked better than I thought. Sbisa has looked pretty solid on the back end. To bad we didnt have one more player that hit like him, I guess JV will add to that if starts to get in games regularly.

It's how you coach young players. You try to put them in positions to learn and succeed. I'd be concerned if our 6th overall pick wasn't getting ice time down 2-0.

Never have I seen the Kings so slow and uninterested.

6 minutes of power play 3rd period prime time.... 1 shot.

Did they actually "work on the shut-out" for Miller? No one seemed too impressed during the immediate post game celebration. They looked embarrassed.

And can LA spend a few dollars and actually get an NHL sheet of ice?

Was it not just last year when Philly fired their coach after game 3?

Also, anyone see Cory Hirsh between the 2nd and 3rd say that the kings main problem is not their current play but the way the GM and coach publically shamed Richards.

I doubt we can sustain this pace, but it's encouraging to see that our D is much better and mobile and can carry the puck out of the zone with speed and give our forwards a chance to hit the O-zone with speed and with the puck. The entire team looks like a cohesive unit now and Horvat is getting better each game. Vrbata continues to look like he wants out of Vancouver and Edler actually looked like a #1 D for a change (even if it's only this game)

The team is so much more physical with JV in the line up. I like what I saw tonight.

Miller is on fire right now. He's the reason we have taken 7 of 8 points available from our division already.

You could see that the Kings started to shy away from the heavy game and started to act like we did back in 2011 with all the whining, diving and embellishing. Those 3 penalties in a row being a case in point.

I am not trying to glorify my team. And who knows how the season turns out.

But I did think the day the said they were going to insert some young blood in the line up this team would be better.

Thus far Im not wrong.

Benning has made some moves that have P'd me off. But we have been successful so far so who am I to judge?

Just wanted to see if it made a difference. If Miller is pissed he can come to my house and take a beating.
