Unbelievable ball game...I don't even care about the Jays but I found myself cheering for them after those crazy calls. TO fans should be embarrassed with the beer can throwing though.

I thought only Vancouver people do that

Not true. We are the only ones that light them on fire first however.

I don't get baseball. I thought the Canucks celebration when they won the west was over the top, but this is crazy.

I just saw this, but was thinking the same as you....

Non-baseball fans need to realize that making the playoffs & advancing is much rarer than hockey/hoops. That's why they celebrate so hard.

It still looks over the top.

Was wondering if their last celebration could have caused the slow start for this series?

Yeah I agree. You haven't won it till you win it all... that should be the focus.

IT's funny that Carol mentioned Green Day and how they're totally out of fashion these days...i've thought that this would be a great entrance song...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IclmVdWNbI

would need to be remixed a bit, but mashing up the intro and chorus would be fun i think.

Anything's gotta be better than U2.

DJ Dave used to play "Know Your Enemy" at the first stoppage in play during the last couple of years of his tenure, so I negatively associate that song with "the decline."

I like your Beastie Boys suggestion. Another '90s R&B track that I think would stand up is Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It."

I'm expecting to hear some modern country choices from the kids.

Modern country you say? Maybe they could use some from former canucks draft pick Chad Brownlee.

That'd be good.

I've DJed a couple of Chad Brownlee shows. He's pretty good; totally plays up the hockey player thing.

He hits the stage to a voiceover intro from Jim Hughson, and used a guitar made out of hockey sticks on his last tour. If I remember correctly, it was being auctioned off for charity.

It was the most incredible baseball game I've ever witnessed. Baseball teams tend to celebrate more for the series wins than other sports - it is what it is.

I've never heard the Dome that loud before - and I was there in 1992 and 93.

Personally...and this is just me...I'd just crank out the mad riff from Bohemian Rhapsody that starts with guitar and then "so you think you can stop me and spit in my eye?..."

Anthony Auclair with the Hat-Trick against the ducks.

I don't how they are seen as the favorite with that defense.

Bear in mind, this is early in the season, I don't see this trend continuing past mid-November. This is the silly part of the season, when teams that were supposed to suck will surprise, teams that were supposed to be average are average and teams that were supposed to do well, suck.

I'm not saying I disagree, but imagine if only 8 teams made the playoffs in the NHL instead of 16. The Kings never would have won their cup in '12

It still looks wrong though. I guess the difference is that you could be severly hung over and still play a decent game of baseball.
