Has that happened in other arenas? Has there been a development in the case that I don't know about? Because if the investigation is still on going I don't really feel good about it. Seems inappropriate no?
Kinda like this: http://nhl.nbcsports.com/...boo-for-flyers-fans-boos/
I don't like Kane as much as the next guy (because trouble seems to follow him, he scored that crap goal and he represents the JVR disaster to me) but is this in a similar light to the snowball at Santa incident? I can't find anything about it online for what that is worth. - coffee junkie
It will probably be talked about for 10 years whereas the Rangers fans chanting buy a porche is long forgotten outside of Philadelphia. so sick of boo hoo philly fans are so mean crap. (frank) em |

How good would even an aging Zdeno Chara look on that team? - johndewar
Chara is an interesting one. The BJs have spent too much money to just accept that this season is going down the tubes, so maybe they would consider making a blockbuster deal.
If they want to make a much cheaper move, I would gladly take one of their forward prospects off their hands for Luke Schenn. |

Neuvirth; trend or mirage? Darcy Kuemper started last season with 2 straight shutouts.... Less than halfway through the season he was benched and the Wild were forced to make a trade for Dubnyk because he pretty much sucked after that. - MnGump
Also, as Bill said, the last Flyer to start with 2 shutouts was the immortal Jeff Hackett. And Brian Boucher holds the NHL record for shutout streak. He's a good goalie on a nice run right now, but Mason is still your #1. |

it's a shame his injury robbed him of his career, and it's a testament to emery that he was even able to come back for one season, let alone 4, albeit as a backup getting bounced around. there's no doubt that neuvirth is a better, longer-term option. i'm happy we have him. - hammarby31
on all counts. Nicely stated.

Do you think a realistic trade could be worked for Boone Jenner when the main piece going back is Luke Schenn? |

Well then Luke wouldn't be the main piece, the 1st would. |

Great win. Neuvirth played great, but still hope Mase returns soon. Also only a matter of time Raffl gets hurt imo. Back to back games where he did his weird tactic of blockin shots and got drilled in tough spot. Happened last year and could happen again (soon) |

The CBJ defense have started out terribly. Not too surprising when Connauton and Prout are in your top 6, and Jack Johnson is your #1.
https://streamable.com/cf0y - Feanor
Kekalainen used most of his big assets for forwards. Prior to this past draft, 4 1st round picks used only for forwards. Made 23 trades since he was hired in February of 2013. In those trades, he acquire 25 players with only 6 being defensemen with the biggest name Nick Schultz as a rental. He also traded 6 defensemen in those transactions. Compared that to acquiring Hartnell, Saad, and Gaborik at one time. Ignore the defense at your own peril. |

Players need to stop turning their legs/skates when they block shots. |

Luke wouldn't be enough I don't think. Maybe Del Zotto would. I would even throw in Alt, especially once Marti came back. |

oh yes they did. the chant was "buy a porsche, hextall, buy a porsche!"
i already hated them, but from that moment on, it skyrocketed to an immeasurable endless well of hate that never dry up.
msg could implode with 20,000 rangers fans inside and i wouldn't care.

Glad you are privy to more evidence that the rest of us that proves that he's guilty.
I'm not saying he did or didn't do it. I don't know for sure. But unless charges have been filed, there's no reason why he shouldn't be playing. - jmatchett383
same here, and I have 3 daughters btw ... all kidding aside, innocent until proven guilty. |

Going back to team performance (sorry working gets in the way of this)
They are positioned better to help each other out in the PK ( pass from along the boards to the D in the slot to clear for an example) as well as breaking up point to point passes.
They are doing a lot small things to help breakout/ clear or pass better and not mucking around with the puck in their zone either- clear and regroup.
Even the dump ins are better generally
A lot of small fundamental things added to more movement of their feet.
Plus they are getting used to doing this.
When its second nature and not requiring thought, it will be faster.
And it is a cyclic thing of success helping to further belief in the right way/new coaches way of doing things
This is very encouraging with the exception of whatever Masons family problems are. (have not backread) |

Billy Tibbets was also convicted of several violent crimes, had spent over a year's worth of time in prison and was a registered sex offender. That's why he was booed at home. If you want to chant at Kane for being up a cabbie, that's fine, because he actually did it. - jmatchett383
Christ. Now he raped a cabbie too? |

Eddie and Doc can fake it a bit, but you can tell it pains Pierre to no end to say anything complimentary about the Flyers. - funmaster18
i think pierre stood up for the flyers when Richardberry was smashing them about picking a college coach. |
