My worthless and re-hashed opinion on Kane:
Whether he is guilty or not, I, nor anyone else in the public knows yet... but the question is - Why do these "famous" people constantly keep putting themselves in these situations? For a little bit of random tail? You HAVE to realize that as a "famous" person, there is many, many people out here looking to exploit you. You shouldn't even put yourself in a situation that could be construed like this.
Maybe he's guilty, or maybe he isn't. I just hope all of this trouble and investigation was worth the 30 seconds of "pleasure" he had with her. Best case scenario right now, is he goes through hell, is found not guilty, but still has a tarnished reputation. Worst case, he is found guilty and ends up in prison.
It's just sad that a young guy, who is a heck of a hockey player and has the world by the nutz, makes such stupid decisions that are detrimental to his future... again, guilty or not.. guys need to start thinking with the head on their shoulders instead of the one between their legs.

that's...unimaginably terrible - Giroux_Is_God
this is what i mean when i talk about hating the franchise or team...it's not so much the team as the fans. the fans are the team, because they are the constant. the players come and go.
there is no better single example than this one in particular to illustrate the depths of my hatred. and why, when i saw csp lying in a heap after being scored against by martinez to lose the cup, my happiness was equally immeasurable in response to the pain being inflicted upon those scum sucking banana eater rangers fans. (frank) them. |

you might want to impart that bit of wisdom upon your readers, who seemed to blame everything under the sun as to why the hawks lost, giving zero credit to the flyers who played a very solid game. |

How has TvR looked so far this season? He had a development camp here once upon a time. |

He's looked okay for the limited action I've seen. He was forced to go to that awful Chicago defense, our stacked defense didn't have room for him. |

We'll see. It's 4 games. They've won 2 and lost 2. Last night was the best game they played. They're still the same team as last year so far. Poor on the road and good at home, poor against bad teams and good against the better teams. Until that trend dissolves I think most of us will wait.
The coach is the most noticeable upgrade over last year. |

Oh, those wacky readers of mine.
I don't know man, reading my thread this AM seems like people are giving the Flyers some props. No?
They're playing hard and confident. Good pace to their game too. Hawks were not ready for them. |

We were all young men at one point in our lives on the prowl, and involved in the single life. Why would we expect any young pro athlete to be different? They certainly need to use good judgment because they are at risk of people trying to take advantage of that. I don't expect a young pro athlete not to have a social life. I'm not going to judge Kane until I know the verdict. I think he has every right to play until he is charged or arrested. |

He's looked pretty good and he's getting better. I am not in love with his physical talents, he's really kind of a marginal athlete at the NHL level, although he has a plus shot, but he plays smart and keeps it simple. |

i should have clarified, i was referring to yesterday's blog. the comments during and after the game. a lot of whining about the officiating in particular.
perhaps that changed overnight. |

Powerenforcer: "Give the Flyers credit for playing the perfect "Gary Bettman Parity league" game."
Kingcong39: "That kind of play is brutal to watch. I understand it wins, but that is the problem with the league. Time to start calling every single penalty again so this style is hopefully relegated to the background. "
Those are, at best, back-handed compliments. |

Good for you disagreeable. They've played three games against the Flyers and Carolina. They're 2-1. |
