Hat trick for Duclair last night. I'm really glad we only have to play him two times a year going forward.
And put who at 2C in his place? In case you didn't notice, the 3C got eight minutes of ice time last night so he's not really in line for a promotion. - Feanor

Booing him is fine, and I agree that he's a guy that trouble just seems to follow him around. He needs to reevaluate some of his lifestyle choices. But the chant was a bit much for me, especially when it seems as though he wasn't guilty (from what I've read). But hey, it's a player we don't like, so let's make light of rape allegations because Philly, yo. - jmatchett383
What was the chant? It didn't come through well on the NBCS Rivalry Night™ broadcast.

I'm just undecided on whether I like hasktol deployment of our top lines need to be able to go from d to o. And our lower lines get the easier starts. That's what it seemed like.
And I'll say it until somebody responds!

It needs to happen - Tfaehner
I like Read-Coots-Schenn too.
In regards to transitioning from D to offense, a lot of that involves the D as well. As they continue to upgrade the talent on D, that will improve.

Has that happened in other arenas? Has there been a development in the case that I don't know about? Because if the investigation is still on going I don't really feel good about it. Seems inappropriate no?
Kinda like this: http://nhl.nbcsports.com/...boo-for-flyers-fans-boos/
I don't like Kane as much as the next guy (because trouble seems to follow him, he scored that crap goal and he represents the JVR disaster to me) but is this in a similar light to the snowball at Santa incident? I can't find anything about it online for what that is worth. - coffee junkie

Me neither.
I also found one line from his statement to the press to be quite entertaining, where he said he was sure he would "be absolved of doing nothing wrong." So, was that an admission?

I have a daughter as well. Which is why it offended me. If we're going to call a guy out who likely didn't commit rape (again, from what I've read), it kind of belittles rape itself. I don't know, it just seemed like a very classless thing to me. But again, Philly, yo. |

It's early, but yes, the booing and in another arena "no means no."
I'm not sure if I'm in the minority or not, but when the guy behind me said it was wrong for the fans to do it I turned around and said what's wrong here is that he's playing. Of course, if he weren't a superstar, he might well be sitting until the grand jury sits. - bodiva88

what's classless is giving the guy a press conference to essentially call his accuser a liar, then shutting down to any further questions. He should've kept his mouth shut, and the league shouldn't have put him in front of a microphone.
Zero sympathy here. |

"Taking a centering feed from Brayden Schenn, Couturier partially flubbed the shot off the heel of the stick. The puck went in weakly on Crawford."
Couts does have a penchant for flubbing the puck. Really, flubbing is to Couturier what falling down is to Hartnell. - TheGreat28

Glad you are privy to more evidence that the rest of us that proves that he's guilty.
I'm not saying he did or didn't do it. I don't know for sure. But unless charges have been filed, there's no reason why he shouldn't be playing. |
