Doesn't mean he's not. I hope his feelings were hurt last night. - BulliesPhan87
So, can we just chant, "STOP MURDERING PUPPIES!" next game even though he's never been charged with murdering puppies because we don't like him? |

That 3-on-5 PK triangle was so tight for the entire sequence. Very impressive - missingmike

I have a daughter as well. Which is why it offended me. If we're going to call a guy out who likely didn't commit rape (again, from what I've read), it kind of belittles rape itself. I don't know, it just seemed like a very classless thing to me. But again, Philly, yo. - jmatchett383
Oh, I'm fully on board with the whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing, but in terms of arena treatment from opposing fans, the dude is simply reaping what he sows. He's a classless, over-privileged punk. |

Puck was on edge. - MJL
I understand that's not the ideal situation, but he's got to put an at least semi-quality shot when you're 10' out. |

Again, I agree. But I'd rather not downplay the seriousness of rape by placing blame on those who didn't commit it. |

Has he been involved in an alleged puppy murder incident? If no, then a chant like that would be random and wholly inappropriate. |

Great job honoring Kimmo. Big win. Great play from Neuvirth. Not too much to complain about other than taking too many stupid penalties. |

Rangers fans chanted at Dennis Potvin after his wife accused him of beating her.

Eh, rape is always serious. And no always means no. I don't think anyone chanting it is minimizing rape. |

Maybe he will, maybe he won't. That's really up to how he is holding up mentally and emotionally. Maybe practicing yesterday was cathartic. But maybe he's still not able to totally focus on hockey. Everyone is different. - bmeltzer
For sure if he's not ready mentally then start Neuvirth. But if he's ready to go I feel like he should get the start. |

Well, in their defense, their main job as a 4th line is to provide energy and keep the other team off the scoresheet. Mission accomplished. - BiggE
Absolutely, if your 4th line gets a cycle going and keeps the puck in the opposition end, they've done their job. That has a cumulative effect in the game, and helps tire the opposition out. |

Watching and rooting for a team with less talent work hard for 60 minutes is a lot of fun. Very enjoyable, could easily get used to this. Goalies stealing games. No OT or shootouts. Love it.
Wtf with the 6 day break though. |

They have games on Tuesday and Wednesday so each goalie should start one of them, assuming Mase is ready to play again. |

I'm just undecided on whether I like hasktol deployment of our top lines need to be able to go from d to o. And our lower lines get the easier starts. That's what it seemed like.
And I'll say it until somebody responds!

It needs to happen - Tfaehner
There's a number of anomalies and players usage that seems out of whack, but they've played 3 strong games, against good opponents and have a good record coming out of that 4 game stretch, so maybe Hakstol knows something. One thing I like is that he plays the lines that are playing better. The 4th line was playing better than the Laughton line, so he played them more. |
