WD got absolutelY schooled.
Funny how we clearly beat them in every way 1st 2 games but some feel we didnt have the right guys. We had way more talent then calgary did. That was obvious. then hartley did his tweaks like good coaches do n it turns it around. WD had no answer for it. Period.

Go look at footage if u dont think so. Look at where flames entered zone in games 3/4. Where turn overs happened etc. They knew HOW TO BEAT US. Thats the coaches job to figure that out and come up w a plan to execute.

Luckily it seems get badly schooled last year taught him a thing or 2. Lets hope.

What the footage tells me is that Ferklund, Engelland and Bollig were allowed to run around like apes and do whatever they wanted under the guise of Hartley's dirty style of coaching (which he is known for). We did not have ONE answer for that. That is a team/personnel issue not being blatantly outcoached every shift.

I will agree that WD was outcoached in some minor capacity but no where near the level you are suggesting. And I do believe he has learned from it. WD is a champion at every level of coaching up to the NHL and you don't get there by being outcoached every playoff series regardless if its AHL, WHL or whatever.

A good example of extreme outcoaching was Vignault getting Schooled by Julien in 2011. We had a championship team that year and AV just couldn't outthink Julien or match his moves. But we were also screwed by the league so it wasn't all on AV but a large portion was.

Thx for the video. You could have done that too when Mutt Lange was polishing/producing tunes for Bryan Adams/Def Leppard and Shania Twain. There was a time when you could not tell the tunes apart from all three artists...lol

Let's really be honest....Sutter will be a valuable, contributing member of the team over the next four years in the form of, PP, PK, face-offs & he can move up and down the lineup at center or wing.

I like nucker. But it kind of erked me with the I've never seen either guy play but I think my guy is better then your guy because I want him to be.
