They actually introduced this as Conor McDavid's first Hockey Day in Canada game. That venerable institution that has existed for like two whole years. It's not his fault and it's not Oiler's fans fault, but it's driving me crazy.

I have never seen one Teresenko commercial and he is much more established. As you say not his fault but as someone who has no investment in McDavid I am sick and tired of hearing his name for a guy who has done nothing yet at this level . If one game matters Ben Hutton would be a superstar

I think what you're seeing is the Oilers have taken that next step offensively...as oppose to the Canucks being not very good. That said, we are certainly a better possession team than the Oilers.
