It's a little crazy, but when you consider the shootout as the next step anyhow, what's the difference? Someone's got to win the game and the crazy formatting is how they do it. I guess the key is to try not to take it too seriously.

like u mean he the guy had a split second from 15 feet and wasn't able to get enough wood on it to beat the goalie coming back? that and what happened to sedin are not even close to the same thing.
also if you missed empty nets, then the goalie didn't beat you. you just didn't execute.

I was noticing a lot of the 4th line against Hall and RNH. I noticed because it was chaos in the Vancouver end.
I generally trust WD to shelter the right guys, but its the Oilers. Their entire team is young and inexperienced, so give our youth the green light. JV and Horvat played against McDavid in the last year or two. I would understand this tactic better against a team like Chicago...

I disagree, the Canucks just didn't capitalize. If you're going to credit coaching, the Canucks had a few set plays that created some of those good scoring chances that would've put the game away. Cant coach a goalie to stand on his head
