I disagree, the Canucks just didn't capitalize. If you're going to credit coaching, the Canucks had a few set plays that created some of those good scoring chances that would've put the game away. Cant coach a goalie to stand on his head

Between their team this year and last year, they seem to be a bit more structured (though last year was a tire fire so it isn't saying much) but the biggest difference for me is Hall and RNH feel really dangerous when they are on the ice. I noticed in preseason that RNH has developed quite the shot while Hall is faster and looking more dangerous off the rush. Combine that with a little depth from the new Yak/McJesus chemistry and there is less downtime between threats. Without much improvement I doubt they will win more than 1 against Van in regulation, the defensive depth is low and the goalies are wildcards
