we lost a lot of loose puck battles, especially in open ice. not pleased with the execution at all. a ton of bad passes from out of our end that went nowhere.

I was wondering the same thing. Hakstol pulled Simmonds off for Couturier. Only reason I can think of is for a 2nd centerman for the draw.

just as i feared, they had a poor (but not horrendous) game and lost in the first one back after the glorious 5 day break. let's hope they nip this in the bud right now and get a W tomorrow night.

The Flyers organization needs to start changing their policy, do the Flyers ever extend players where they actually produce when they should?

I'm pretty much at the point where I can't even blame the coaches anymore for their ES woes. It's just a poor mix of guys up front.

i have no problem with them being split up. i've seen effort and skating...not gliding with disinterest, so that at the bare minimum is some kind of positive. i wouldn't sit voracek.
