it would seem as if murray's not very fond of russians - Michael Pachla
I get it and I don't get it.
I get it because: Tim Murray just seems like the type of guy that could possibly have a prejudice against russians OR maybe just loves north american players to a level beyond comprehension.
I don't get it because: There are so many damn talented russian hockey players in the NHL and overseas its nuts to just completely ignore them based on prejudice.
Maybe just Maybe its all coincidence and we just happened to trade away all of our NHL level Russians and avoid drafting Russians since GMTM has been at the helm |

If i remember Correctly, these were the exact lines in the preseason before gionta went down with the lower-body. - Sabre_Tooth
Maybe Bylsma will go back to that. I think that ROR line could be nasty and fun to watch. |

What do you guys think of these lines
Kane-ROR-Ennis
Moulson-Eichel-Reinhart
McGinn-Girgs-Gionta
DeLow-Larsson-Foligno
Just to change it up a bit. I'd like Girgs in the top 6 but he seems to prefer C. Although Kane and Eichel have developed some nice chemistry, they seem to struggle with their finish. Putting Kane with ROR and they'll bring the forecheck hard and drive the opposing D crazy. I like that. Knowing Bylsma he'll change the lines constantly, gotta find the right combinations.
And for all the criticism on Bylsma juggling lines, the great Scotty Bowman did it all the time. He believed it kept players fresh and prepared shift after shift. As a coach he was a genius at mixing lines all of the time. Frankly I think Bylsma's coaching has been fine. They're a better 5 on 5 team and seem to be a bit better defensively, sans Weber. They were the better team in TB and their work in the corners and the half wall is so much better than last year. I think after the 25th game or so we'll have the lines figured out. The bottom 6 is really strong and the compete level is good. It ain't perfect but they'll get there. - mhp
I wouldn't mind these as lines 2 and 3:
Moulson-Eichel-Girgensons
McGinn-Reinhart-Larsson
I'm with you though, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Kane/Eichel broken up to see if they can both flourish more with other linemates |

Question for you buffalo fans. My D in my pool is rather underwhelming, and I'm thinking about picking up Ristolainen. I know he's getting good minutes now, but I don't watch Buffalo games so I don't know how he's playing, we count everything in the pool, hits, blocks, shots, the works.
Worth picking up? |

I could live with that too Stash, and actually like those 2 lines. Girgs in the top 6 and slide down Reinhart. It would move Gionta to the 4th line with Foligno and DeeLoww. |

132nd in Hits among d-men (don't expect him to be much of a Hits guy)
81st in Blocks
27th in Points (1G, 2A)
T 7th in Shots
Take it how you wish. |

Well I knew all that already haha.
I guess my point having not watched him play, is, what can I reasonably expect going forward? Is he likely to just play out those stats over the full 82 games, or are there some areas he'll pickup or drop back at as more games get played? |

I'd say he's got two things going for him: 1) he'll have either a better partner or insulation when Bogo comes back, and 2) he's still stupid young, and should develop with the rest of the squad. He will continue to get top minutes and will be a fixture on the pp, so should be a decent pickup to provide depth on a fantasy lineup over the course of a season. |

I don't see the point in preordering tickets to a movie theater other than to brag about preordering tickets to the movie theater.....
my philosophy: "OOOO NOOOO i'll have to go TWO days after the movie releases"....i'll still see the same movie as everyone else |

I've never done it before and probably never will again. But I've been waiting for this movie for over 30 years.
If that's bragging then, guilty as charged. |

It's another BS TMZ report. Like Tyrod getting a diamond mouthpiece. I don't believe until a reputable source comes out with their own information. - Stripes77

Sorry I don't buy anything glorified paparazzi reports. You know the racist piece of poop that comes up with things like a black Canadian hockey player.
Sorry nice try come at me with something better.
Like I said if a real report comes out I will believe it. |

And besides that who wants to sit bumhole to elbow with a bunch of sexually frustrated Star Wars nerds Not this guy!(insert sarcasm) I'll just go in the middle of the day a month after it comes out. That way I can spread out on those awesome loungers/recliners at AMC. |
