Flyers desperately need something from the top line. Now not only are Giroux and Voracek not been the Flyers best players, but now Giroux, is costing the team. His giveaway and undisciplined penalty led to both Boston goals. This could easily be 2-0 Flyers. Come out on the PP and get something done.

They'll come. They're peppering goalies with a ton of shots. They're shooting under 3% as a group. Only a matter of time.

2. Go Gagner. Twice already coming off a scratch (technically he was going to be scratched tonight) he comes in and helps get a goal. That line in their limited action looks terrific. Laughton seriously needs to play more. Second line did good possession work too.

3. On the Gagner goal, very subtle play that probably goes unnoticed by Medvedev leads to the goal. He does a brilliant pinch which hems the Bruins d in while Flyers change. Bruins get caught in a change, tired d out there, Gagner walks in with a ton of space. Medvedev is the Flyers's smartest d man -- he performs these pinches or step ups all over the ice all the time. Different teams play it differently. Some teams are very aggressive. The PP comes down to execution, and making plays.
