Until they can rid themselves of some of the bad contracts and improve the team speed this team is going to be more of the same. have to work their asses off 60 mins to win games or have goalies stand on their heads

Yeah, no. He looked around, put his head down to fish out the puck along the boards, and THEN Rinaldo comes charging in. Sometimes a player will be going in for a hit and simultaneously the person on the receiving end of the hit will put the head down -- that happens and it's not typically illegal. Rinaldo had a good couple seconds to see Coots was in a vulnerable position and went right in for the high hit. He may or may not have left his feet before contact, but he went high and thrusted up. It's dirty.

I see what you're talking about. That's so borderline though. I think the tip of his right skate blade might still be touching the ice, as is the tip of his left skate blade, and I also think the the contact might have already been made before that frame.

It's not even the bad contracts though. Who does Simmonds mesh with offesively? What about Coots? G and Jake can't produce at 5 on 5. That has nothing to do with Vinny, AMac or RJ.

so you think he won't be suspended? I'll take that bet. he targeted the head. more of the same from Zac. we saw it here enough. I never hated the kid but hated the stupidity of his play at times. there was no reason for him to target Couturier's head.
