Trailing any team by 2 goals in the 3rd & coming away with a win is a great accomplishment no matter who you are playing. I just have one question. Why isn't Ryan White playing in Allentown?

I think they'd be better off balancing out the minutes between the defenseman. Clearly Streit and Schultz aren't capable of handling shutdown pair matchups.

If Schultz gets rough usage and produces bad results, it doesn't make him any better than the others. It's like the Amac effect on the Islanders

- PhillySportsGuy

What if other placed in that role do worse? There is also a trickle down effect. Medvedev, despite not playing as many minutes as I'd like is doing pretty well in his role, as is Del Zotto. If they're not going to use Couturier as they have in the past, there is going to be an effect on the rest of the team. That's an example of how it's a team game, and not just about one player.

The answer to the trivia question "Who did the Flyers allegedly want to draft when they drafted Claude Giroux?" was, apparently, waived by Buffalo.

Do you guys think Rinaldo will get 41 games? Also is Couturier concussed?

Clearly this coach (and the previous coach) think they are more capable than any other Flyers defensemen.

Balancing the minutes would bring some guys possesssion stats up and some guys stats down, but the team is what it is.

We like Gagner until he starts getting caved in -- and if he was in the fourth line getting those zone starts, that is what would happen
- AllInForFlyers

You wouldn't/shouldn't have to use Gagner on the 4th-line tho... somebody else can get bumped down.

Nick Schultz @ 5V5: CF%37.41... that's -16.20% worse than the team average.

Noooooooooooooooo...not their possession numbers. Anything but that. That would crush their morale.

I didn't think there was anything particularly egregious on the Rinaldo hit other then it was a tad late. If they suspend him it will be because of the name on the back of the jersey.

That being said, F him, he's a bruin now. I'll take their third.

The bruins are screwing up our draft pick. Let's talk about that.

he was late, it was high, coots was defenseless while playing the puck. it was dirty, unnecessary, and typical of that (frank)wit. i hope he gets suspended. more important, i hope coots is ok.

He's playing tougher minutes, but his possession numbers & even eye test haven't been good. He hasn't looked out and out terrible, but he's had his moments, too. He was giving up the blue line quite often last night, including on the Hayes goal

hammarby, assuming you weren't messing yourself due to nerves, how easily do you think you could have stopped that 4th Bruins goal? That looked like a goal that MAF circa 2012 playoffs would have stopped.

Well, according to some Rangers fan (possibly fans), it was the Flyers who made him the way he is.

His OZS% of 35 is 20% less than the team average of 55%.

it was a good shoot, but one that any NHL goalie has to stop from that spot, unscreened. he just (frank)ed it up. i feel confident that i could have stopped it, but i probably would have put the rebound directly into the slot.

i don't want mason's job. no thanks. he's doing fine.
