Just so we are all on the same page.
Hoping Sean comes back soon. Regardless of the team, I don't like seeing players injured. Except for maybe a few players but only if they REALLY deserve it. Sean is not one of them.

Link to video from player safety review of the hit.

Rangers are gonna be tough. Gotta find a way to contain Duclair, he's been on a tear to start the season.

Off-topic, but I had a thought during the Giants-Eagles game. The Giants had 12 men on the field. Once the ball was snapped, a flag was thrown, but the play went on anyway, and Bradford was sacked. The play didn't matter, and the Eagles accepted the 5-yard penalty and the down was replayed.

But my issue was more with the sack. So, the question I have is this:
If play is allowed to continue despite having too many men on the field, why not just like up like 30 guys on defense and tell them to just have at the QB? They can't all be blocked, and as long as the hit on the QB is legal, all you'll get is a 5-yard penalty.

They don't have Duclair anymore. They are stuck with a 2.6 million dollar cap hit for that bum Yandle. Worst contract amongst dmen in the NHL imo.

(that was the joke). And I'd consider the AMac deal a bit worse.

The end goal of doing something like that would be?

Also, would the play even be allowed to begin with such an obvious overloading of players?

I'm not trying to pick on you personally, you were just the first to say it.

The whole point for many wanting to get rid of the enforcer role was to add a player to each line up who had something to give.

For me the Flyers are their own worst enemies some nights. I thought Mason threw the game away in Florida and while the players didn't show up, by using terrible match ups at home against Dallas, I thought Dave Hakstol was equally the reason why we lost on Tuesday.

With this said, by not playing Vinny due to ignorant pride, this could cost us another game Saturday if both Schenn and Couturier cannot go. Injuries happen randonly during games. We need the bodies.

For me this is a chance to show what Vinny has left. I expect rust. I expect him to make mistakes. At the same time, everyone including himself gets to look at him. If he fails, no excuse, he'll see limited time from here on out.

Do not twist my words. Many admit Vinny could still be a capable PP player. We could use this.

It doesn't make him good, but he is a great player. Top 5 offensive defenseman in the league behind Karlsson, Subban and Letang.
