Most of the Buffalo fans left after the wave of goals hit, but still. A lot of red in that arena.

If we go through the rest of the season with Johnson and then caveman Lenner when he returns, we'll easily be a lottery team. We might not be much better than last year. Get some capable goaltending and we'll be ok.

Kanes time in atlanta/winnipeg were not on better teams. Had he not been injured and traded last season, it would have been the first time he was on a playoff team, one that squeaked in at the end of the season ala regier era buffalo teams.

And a marginal playoff team is much much better than this team right now.

Cannot stand watching gionta play with Eichel, he can't keep up with his speed. Granted, Eichel is faster than most, but still, he needs some younger legs with him.

Ennis needs to get bumped to 4th line duty for a little bit and get his game under control until he plays himself right into this teams maxim afinogenov; playing with some sort of reckless abandon. Maybe he feels threatened with the new additions, but hes trying to do too much out there an he just doesn't' look like a top 6 forward most of the time

I liked Moulsons play in front of the net, he has a good nose for that, would like to see it more often.
