Been waiting for this since they leaked the photo of the paint job on his mask, as he opted for the blue & gold instead of red/white/blue. My guess is the plan was all along to have him & Lehner duke it out for the #1 job once he got the green light post recovery.

That goal was totally caused by Gionta. O'Reilly won the draw to Gionta who not only misplayed it but lost containment on the guy who ended up shooting it. Not much gorges could do as he was being crosschecked to the ice by henrique (no call). Unacceptable for our "veteran" line to give up a goal like that in the last minute if a period. Gionta has be absolutely horrible so far this year and I don't believe I'm exaggerating

I hope they keep track of how many goals the Sabres score with Reinhart parked in front of the goalie. He's proving to be pretty valuable just for that (he's also generally playing well). I'll be curious to see the total at the end of the season.
