I hope they keep track of how many goals the Sabres score with Reinhart parked in front of the goalie. He's proving to be pretty valuable just for that (he's also generally playing well). I'll be curious to see the total at the end of the season.

Reinhart again in front of the goalie. In all honesty though #23 wasn't screening for goal #1 - he was off to the side and his own dman screened him

Agreed. The missed scoring chances are very frustrating. This might be the theme for the season, unfortunately.

Pretty amazing there was no call on that Girgs semi-breakaway.

I don't know which team scored that goal but it certainly wasn't the devils.

Only the sabres can totally dominate a game and be losing like this. Eichel sets up Ennis and he pisses away a chance to put us up 3-1, next thing you know we're losing 3-2. The know its much interesting to watch but at some point we have to start scoring

It's a joke. Relax.

Not saying it's the reason we're losing. But the officiating has been horrendous tonight. Referee way in the corner on a play at the net. Missed calls all over the place. Girgensons was clearly held on the semi-breakaway, no call. Deslauriers had his stick not just held but totally pinned, for about 7 seconds, but again no call.

The stats say the Sabres should be winning a majority of these games. They're way ahead in possession and Corsi, but we just can't bury the chances. One thing will happen. We'll start scoring, or the numbers will come down to where we are. This odds of this being sustained over the course of a full season have to be astronomical (the not scoring despite the stats saying we should be).
