Sutter is capable of playing really good while looking bad. It took some getting use to but he is a very useful and effective player if you never had the bar set high for the guy. I'm not at all disappointed with adding him so far. I just ignore some of the stuff Benning says about players when acquires them. It seems to change what people expect from the new additions... gives others ammo when they are on their soap box.

This is fair, I wasn't high on Sutter to be honest but he is solid in my books too. It should be noted that Sutter is a guy Benning has watched since junior as a scout. If there is one thing Benning does well it seems to me it's evaluate players at all levels, whether trading or drafting. Of course Vey and Baertchi may not work, but Sbisa (yes Sbisa), Vrbata, Miller and Sutter have all done pretty well. Now if he can just learn to pay players a little less and handle the cap...

Habs are awful, I can't believe they are 9-0 and not 0-9.

So far so good for me... wife is still putting the final details to her move, though I'm back north in a couple of weeks to walk the walk of graduation

How's retirement treating you?

So now that the Canucks beat the best team in the league 5-1, does this make the Canucks the best team in the league?

Cracknel gets back in I guess.

Call up Shink or Gaunce since we were already down to 22 before Prust got hurt.
