He is. Gaunce as well. - LordHumungous
Did you watch the Comets last year? Baertchi was easily their best player. Gaunce was a 4th liner while Bae was an all star. Perhaps in a couple years they are better but it's not close right bow |

I get free nhl game centre with my rogers cell phone. - golfingsince
I looked at that but the problem here is that the cell phone coverage from Rogers is absolutely brutal. Telus and Bell are much better here. |

He keeps picking up Leaf players on waivers and trading them to Lumlums , his son and Yeti for top players

True .
But is their really a difference from having Bern7er or an open roster spot? |

What exactly do you use now? Is there a box you use or company? I've been hearing about this and want more info.... - SMBDragon
Apple TV and steaming from the net. Lots of options and I think lots of guys here have gone away from cable. I miss a lot of CFL games but really its not the NFL so not a loss for me. |

Your league should have insurance for that, your mouth guard should have insurance coverage, and you should have insurance through work or personally for that.
How can you complain if you missed 4 ways to insure yourself against losing a tooth?
Not to mention wearing a full cage, but I wear half visor so I can't comment on that... - Scooby_Doo
I am aware of all of that but you have to know that most league coverages are bargain basement plans and are basically a joke with no direct billing. The plan we have through the league is each player pays $23 for dental and all it gets us is $1500 towards whatever MINUS the deductible...a joke. Our plan is covered by some clown show out of Ottawa and they won't reimburse until all paperwork is submitted.
I have coverage through my city job but it does not cover cosmetic implants which is where the dentist wants to go. I have no choice but to do the bridgework as at least it is covered %50 and the other plans should pick up the rest.
I wear a visor and a mouthguard but as you know mouthguards won't do much if the impact is direct on the tooth as was the case here. I got a skate in the mouth and was very lucky it wasn't worse...just a few stitches on the lip but direct impact on the tooth. I had my dentist design my mouthguard and they make no mention of mouthguard insurance?
It's a bloody process to be sure and very annoying. But if you are gonna play it's going to happen. Looks like I have no choice but to go with the bridge unless I want to fork out $7200 for a single implant...

I didn't think so they played solid 2 way hockey.
Baertchi is not scoring but he is working hard at responsible play. The goals will come. He is skating and working hard he won't be demoted if he keeps doing that. Also he won a couple good battles fro the puck in the offensive zone last night. - thundachunk
I think Sven Baertchi is swiss for 'soft turnover.' |

A little bit. I just think that after watching Gaunce in preseason he might bring a bit more of what we need right now...tough to say. |

Yikes.
Your work plan should have accidental dental coverage that I think covers up to 10k. I'm in insurance...
The cheap insurance companies always look for a reason not to pay out, that's why I stick with the big ones. You never know how good your insurance is until you have to use it.

It's a shame Virtanen will be going back down. Mccan simply can't be moved at this point and Higgins has to replace someone. O well. |

Tough day in the Chunk residence today as we have to put our dog of 13 down today. On the bright side he won't be here for his most hated day of the year. Halloween. Kids dressed in costumes and doorbells going steady stress that poor old man out. |

Not yet, with Prust out he may have to stay up. Then JB will have to make a move. |

I think the Habs are due for the loss, it's the end of a long road trip for them and after seeing how frustrated Hutton and Horvat were, I see the kids having the fire lit in them. Canucks win 5-1 with Horvat getting 2 goals, McCann with 1 and JV with an assist and Hutton continuing to show that he's going to be our #1 D-man in a few years.

JV is going nowhere. Without him this team doesn't have a player with a hard hit. Book it. Welcome to the Canucks JV |

He is playing the role they want him and he is playing it well. Getting more minutes ect. Looks good. WD was asked about sending them down last night he said I could but we still have a few games to make that choice. He was referring to McCann but they are earning their spot imo. |

Sorry, man.
We went through that a few years ago with our 15 year old Jack Russel. Sad day indeed. |
