He is playing the role they want him and he is playing it well. Getting more minutes ect. Looks good. WD was asked about sending them down last night he said I could but we still have a few games to make that choice. He was referring to McCann but they are earning their spot imo.
- thundachunk

If they send them down it is because Canucks feel we have no chance this year. The kids are bringing the game to a higher level. It is the vets who are struggling. Trade Weber and Higgins now . Kids are staying

Agreed.
Looks like all three of Hutton McCann & Virtanen are staying.

A little bit. I just think that after watching Gaunce in preseason he might bring a bit more of what we need right now...tough to say.
- LordHumungous

I personally think Gaunce is highly overrated for some reason. He needs to be more physical to make this team on the 4th line. Bae will start scoring soon...too much skill not to. That being said, if Prust is out for awhile and Higgins is still a few weeks away Gaunce may be a candidate for a couple weeks on the 4th line

The biggest difference they bring is speed. This game moves so fast and they are playing at that speed.

Tough day in the Chunk residence today as we have to put our dog of 13 down today. On the bright side he won't be here for his most hated day of the year. Halloween. Kids dressed in costumes and doorbells going steady stress that poor old man out.
- thundachunk

poopty. They really are a vued member of the house. And anybody who thinks otherwise has never had a good dog.
Mine are 8 and 6. So my kids will be relatively young when both eventually pass. Not looking forward to that conversation at all

I think the numbers indicate either JV or McCann go down. A team struggling to score can't demote their top goal scorer. Virt will be sent down

Why does either have to go down 22 man roster. Both will attend Jr. tourney.

Worst memory as a kid was being told that about my first one, my parents getting us a new one after a while sure helped though. Tough day, dogs are the greatest

McCann won't. As I said u can't drop your leading goal scorer.

No sense in Virt sitting in the press box

I think it has to be tough to separate them, either both go to the tourney or neither. I am still unsure JV sticks though. I think he looks a little lost positionally at times in his own end, but I am not sure Jr is going to help him correct that. His speed compensates for bad positioning in Jrs, where the NHL he has to be smarter or get exploited. Tough to decide where he should learn. McCann has done it all, only point of concern would be his body, but smaller players have survived in the league, I dont think hes in danger of going

Yeah. My dog got hit by a car when I was 11. My dad was crying when he told me
My Boston and 3 yr old daughter are practically inseparable. (Although sometimes she enjoys that more then him) shed be heartbroken for sure

Thats tough, I am not sure I could've handled my parents crying at that time. I got home from Grade 1 or 2 with the dog not there and was told about the situation. I am guessing I was pretty oblivious to his struggles leading to their decision. I do not envy anyone in those positions, though at least they have brought some of the happier moments to people's lives, that makes it easier I guess

I miss my golden retriever, I literally cried when he died for days, never did get over losing him. My parents got him just before I was born and named him Bill, but for the longest time I called him Scooby-Doo because I loved the cartoon and he'd curl up on the floor next to me and watch it with me.

Yikes.
Your work plan should have accidental dental coverage that I think covers up to 10k. I'm in insurance...

The cheap insurance companies always look for a reason not to pay out, that's why I stick with the big ones. You never know how good your insurance is until you have to use it.

- Scooby_Doo

Yep...already been through the whole accidental dental submission but my primary Blue Cross plan or accidental dental will not cover implants. But to my knowledge they will do 50% of the bridge work and the other plans can pick up the rest. So hopefully I am out no cash in the end.

JV is going nowhere. Without him this team doesn't have a player with a hard hit. Book it. Welcome to the Canucks JV
